Recipes Tips
If you want to add some more flavor to the salad, you can sprinkle some feta cheese or toasted pine nuts on top. Also, make sure to rinse the quinoa thoroughly before cooking to remove any bitterness. And, if you don't have fresh herbs, you can use dried herbs instead, but use only half the amount.
This salad is a great option for a light lunch or a side dish with grilled meat or fish. You can also pack it for a picnic or a potluck as it travels well. And, if you have any leftovers, you can use them as a filling for a wrap or a pita sandwich.
The salad dressing can be adjusted to your taste by adding more or less lemon juice, garlic, or olive oil. You can also add some honey or maple syrup for a touch of sweetness.
