Season the turkey necks with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium-high heat. Brown the turkey necks on all sides, about 5 minutes total.
Transfer the turkey necks to a slow cooker.
In the same skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the carrots and celery and cook for another 5 minutes.
Add the diced tomatoes, chicken broth, thyme, and rosemary. Bring to a boil.
Pour the mixture over the turkey necks in the slow cooker.

Ingredients:
4 turkey necks
2 tbsp butter
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 carrots, chopped
3 celery stalks, chopped
2 parsnips, chopped
2 turnips, chopped

1 cup red wine
2 bay leaves
1 tsp dried thyme
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:

In the same pot, sauté the onion and garlic until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the chicken broth, red wine, bay leaves, and thyme. Bring to a boil.
Return the turkey necks to the pot and cover with the vegetables and liquid.
